Once again you stepped onto the dance floor ,

Felt the heat reaching your ears as he walked towards you ,

Then he pulled you close ,

Hand on your waist chin above the crown of your head ,

The world stopped turning ,

Everything changed and all you knew was his warmth ,

The song ended everything started to fade ,

As he smiled and turned around ,

Leaving you there with nothing but a memory .

She was under the spotlight ,

She was on the stage all by herself ,

Then she stood up ,

Her movements were smooth and graceful ,

Power radiated from her ,

She walked her steps careful and light ,

Her dress swirled around her ,

Her smile was brilliant as her eyes twinkled ,

This was the place she belongs to ,

Under the spotlight ,

In her flaming red dress ,

Once again ,

She conquered the dance floor ,

With the dance of fire .
