Leaving

Once again you stepped onto the dance floor ,

You saw his eyes across the room ,

Felt the heat reaching your ears as he walked towards you ,

Your heart made a little sound ,

He held onto your hand and gave you a smile ,

There you turned into a puddle of water ,

He took you deeper into the dance floor as the song continue to play ,

Then he pulled you close ,

Hand on your waist chin above the crown of your head ,

The world stopped turning ,

Everything changed and all you knew was his warmth ,

The song ended everything started to fade ,

As he smiled and turned around ,

Leaving you there with nothing but a memory .
